If you are looking for a way to get into a Toronto Blue Jays game without paying the price of admission, consider volunteering as a 50/50 raffle ticket seller at upcoming Blue Jays games this summer. The Jays are looking for volunteers who are at least 16 years old, confident, outgoing, have good English language skills and don’t mind approaching Blue Jays fans about buying tickets. Once raffle tickets are sold, volunteers are given a complimentary ticket to watch the remainder of the ballgame. Blue Jays games that require raffle ticket volunteers are:
- Thursday, August 11, 2011, 10:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (vs. Oakland Athletics)
Half of the raffle tickets’ proceeds go to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario while the other half goes to the Jays Care Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Toronto Blue Jays organization. To find out about volunteering, email volunteer@hsf.on.ca or call 416-489-7111 ext. 848.
