Canadian funnyman Russell Peters will be back to host the Gilda’s Club variety show, “It’s Always Something,” on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts. The all-star comedy night also includes Second City and Saturday Night Live alumni Eugene Levy, Martin Short and Catherine O’Hara, and comedians Fred Willard and Paul Shaffer. Juno award winner Measha Brueggergosman, Andy Kim and Lighthouse will be performing. Proceeds from the evening will go to Gilda’s Club of Greater Toronto, a cancer care charity established in honour of the late Saturday Night Live comedian Gilda Radner who died of cancer. Tickets are $308.50, $258.50, $107.50 and $56.75 and may be purchased online at Ticketmaster beginning September 23, 2011 or by calling 1-855-872-7669. Individuals purchasing $250 or $300 tickets are invited to a VIP reception after the show.
