Find locally made handicrafts at the 2nd Annual Wandering Winter Craft Show that happens Sat., Nov. 24, 2012 at the Magic Pony, 680 Queen St. W., Sat., Dec. 1, 2012 at the Cameron House, 408 Queen St. W. and Sun., Dec. 9, 2012 at the Gladstone Hotel, 1214 Queen St. W.. Hosted by Shop Cats, the Christmas sale features jewellery, knitwear, scarves, glass art, prints, ethnic dolls, soy candles and soap and Christmas cards.
Seasons Christmas Show 2013
Seasons Christmas Show at the International Centre, 6900 Airport Rd., Mississauga, takes place Nov. 22, 23 and 24, 2013 and features over 200 vendors selling items such as Christmas decor, wreaths, garlands, gifts, clothing, accessories, hostess gifts, toys, gourmet cheeses, dips, preserves and chocolate. Visitors will receive seasonal entertaining tips from show presenters including Lynn Spence of CityLine, Citytv’s Frank Ferragine (Frankie Flowers) and Annabelle Waugh, Food Director of Canadian Living. Hours are Fri., Nov. 16, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sat., Nov. 17, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sun., Nov. 18, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are Adults $14, Seniors/Youth $12 and children 12 and under Free. Adult tickets are $12 if purchased online.
CBC Charity Craft Sale 2013
CBC’ employees put on this annual Christmas craft sale at their headquarters at 250 Front St. W. (at John St.) on Thurs., Dec. 12, 2013 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The sale features handmade items from more than 85 vendors. All vendor fees on the day of donation go to global child protection.

Made by Hand Show
Visit over 150 Canadian craft vendors at the third annual Made by Hand Show on Sat., Oct. 19, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the International Centre, Hall 6, 6900 Airport Rd., Hall 1, Mississauga. All items including Christmas decor, jewellery, art, ceramics, wood, glass, toys, clothing, photography, accessories and knitting are handmade. The first 100 families receive a swag bag. Admission is $5 (children free), with all donor proceeds benefiting Crafting for a Cure.
Markham Home for the Holidays 2013
Markham Home for the Holidays takes place Nov. 15, 16 and 17, 2013 at Markham Fairgrounds, 10801 McCowan Rd. Enjoy a visit from Santa each morning from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. who is available for pictures with kids while you shop for Christmas decor, gifts, furnishings, antiques, cottage and garden accents and folk art. SpeakEasy’s Annual Holiday Sale takes place Thurs., Dec. 1, 2011 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Gladstone Hotel, 1214 Queen St. W. The Christmas craft sale will feature arts, crafts and seasonal gifts from 42 local artists including ceramics, jewellery, books, handmade soap and Christmas cards.

One of a Kind Christmas Show and Sale 2013
This annual deluxe Toronto Christmas craft show and sale takes place Thurs., Nov. 28, 2013 to Sun., Dec. 8, 2013 at the Direct Energy Centre at Exhibition Place. You’ll find original gifts (see our favourite picks from the One of a Kind Christmas Show) including art work, ceramics, clothing, jewellery, natural skincare products, eco-friendly goods and gourmet foods. Enjoy fashion shows exhibiting emerging artists’ work. The Family Centre provides complimentary childcare for ages 2-8 on a first-come, first-serve basis (1 1/2 hour maximum). Show hours are Thurs-Sat from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sun. 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Late night shopping Thurs., Nov. 29 to 11 p.m. Adults $14, Seniors and Students $7, children 12 and under Free. Holiday Art Market 2013
The Holiday Art Market takes place Sun., Dec. 8, 2013 from noon to 5 p.m. at Artscape Wychwood Barns, 601 Christie Street. Artists and craftspeople will be selling handcrafted gifts, ceramics, fresh holiday wreaths made with evergreen, magnolia and bay laurel, jewellery, prints, paintings, pillows, candles, memory games, natural soaps. Enjoy homemade cookies and hot drinks at the holiday café. Free admission.
City of Craft 2013
City of Craft takes place Dec. 14 and 15, 2013 at the Theatre Centre at 1087 Queen Street West (at Dovercourt Road). You’ll find vendors selling hand-made crafts including knitwear, sewing, prints, woodworking, glass and jewellery. Sale hours are Saturday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $2 with children 12 and under free.
Distillery District Christmas Market 2013
Lowe’s Toronto Christmas Market at the Distillery District happens Nov. 29 to Dec. 15, 2013 and features a European-styled street market with vendors selling artisan gifts and gourmet treats for Christmas. Enjoy listening to roaming carollers and brass band and organ concerts while you shop, duck into the beer and mulled wine garden for Christmas spirits, or take the kids to see Rudolph’s Reindeer Zoo, a forest maze and gingerbread house. The Distillery District’s towering Christmas tree will be lit on the opening night. Market hours are Mon-Fri noon to 9 p.m. and Sat-Sun 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Free.
Arcadia Craft Show and Sale
Get in last-minute Christmas shopping at this Christmas craft show at Arcadia Gallery, 680 Queens Quay Blvd. W., 416-530-0057, running from Dec. 15-24, 2011. You’ll find handmade gifts, fine art, jewellery, ceramics, photography, fine art and poetry and children’s books. Sale hours are Monday to Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from noon to 8 p.m. and Fri., Dec. 23 and Sat., Dec. 24 from noon to 6 p.m.
