Former Toronto Maple Leafs’ Doug Gilmour, Ed Belfour and Joe Nieuwendyk, who were inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame earlier this year, will be toasted at a VIP party, “An Unforgettable Night Done Blue and White,” at Real Sports Bar & Grill, 15 York Street in Toronto on Sat., Nov. 12, 2011 at 9:30 p.m. The VIP party follows the Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Ottawa Senators hockey game at Air Canada Centre where the three former Maple Leaf stars will be honoured for their HHOF induction in a pre-game ceremony.

Doug “Killer” Gilmour was the captain of the Maple Leafs during his 1992-1997 term with the Leafs. His #93 Leafs jersey has been retired to the rafters at Air Canada Centre. Ed “The Eagle” Belfour, who tended goal for the Leafs from 2002-2006, garnered a total of 484 wins during his career, which ranks him third all-time among NHL goaltenders. Joe Nieuwendyk created a sensation during his rookie year by scoring 51 goals, then went on to win three Stanley Cup championships, as well as the Conn Smythe Trophy.

A few remaining VIP tickets are available to the public. Tickets for the VIP party honouring the former Leafs are $500 and include an open bar, food stations, gift bag and more. A portion of the proceeds will go to support the Leafs’ fundraising arm, MLSE Team Up Foundation.
