Toronto Maple Leafs Participate in Charity Have a Heart Dinner

The Toronto Maple Leafs and their wives and significant others will be gathering together on Tues., Nov. 29, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. for the Have a Heart Dinner 2011, a charity event at west-end Toronto restaurant, Earth Bloor West. Guests will be able to meet the Leafs and the Lady Leafs and enjoy locally-prepared food, passed appetizers and an open bar.

Live and silent auctions will include personalized auction packages prepared by individual Toronto Maple Leafs and Lady Leafs, Toronto Maple Leafs’ memorabilia and experiential packages. Specific items up for grabs include a fishing package with Leafs general manager Brian Burke and a hockey game at Wendel Clark’s house. Those who wish to donate for rink refurbishment programs will receive a symbolic hard hat that they can use to collect autographs during the evening.

Tickets to the event, which were $275 for Adults and $150 for Youths have sold out; however, you can add your name to the waiting list by emailing tuf@mapleleafsports.com. Proceeds from the event go to support the Team Up Foundation, the charity arm of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment.

Earth Bloor West is located at 2448 Bloor St. W. (just west of Jane St.)
