Canadian entertainment company Cirque du Soleil announced today that its new touring show, Amaluna, will be performed at the Grand Chapiteau in Toronto’s Port Lands from September 5-30, 2012. In her first show with Cirque du Soleil, American Repertory Theatre’s Diane Paulus will direct Amaluna, a female-inspired adaptation of Shakespeare’s The Tempest. Presale tickets for the Toronto dates for Amaluna are now on sale for Cirque Club members (free to join). Tickets are adults $50, $65, $95, $105, $145 and $270; children (2-12) $35, $45.50, $66.50, $73.50, $101.50 an d$189 and seniors/students/military $45, $58.50, $85.50, $94.50 and $130.50.
