
Canadian rocker Bryan Adams will go on his first cross-Canada concert tour in over 20 years, with a stop at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre on Thurs., May 3, 2012 at 8 p.m.
Adams made a splash in the rock music scene in the 80s with a slew of hits including “Straight from the Heart,” “Run to You,” “Cuts Like a Knife,” “This Time,” “Somebody,” “Heaven” and “One Night Love Affair.” He had continued success in the 90s with “Please Forgive Me,” “I’m Ready,” “When You’re Gone” (duet with Mel C of The Spice Girls), “Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman?” and “All for Love” among others.
Adams has received 15 Grammy nomination including one win and the Order of Canada and has a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame and Canada’s Walk of Fame. He was also inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.
Adams is working on his 11th studio album, which is set to be released in 2012.
