
Art Garfunkel, the famous half of the 60s and 70s folk group Simon and Garfunkel with the angelic, soul-stirring voice, will perform at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto on Mon., March 19, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. Hosted by comedian Elon Gold, the concert will benefit Chai Lifeline, a charity devoted to children suffering from serious pediatric illnesses.
Garfunkel scored many chart-topping hits with his singing partner Paul Simon including “Mrs. Robinson,” “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” “Sounds of Silence,” “The Boxer,” “Cecilia,” “Homeward Bound” and “Scarborough Fair.” Garfunkel later created magic with his remake of The Flamingos’ “I Only Have Eyes For You.”
