Intact Insurance will be hosting the “Intact Insurance Day on Skates” at Harbourfront’s Natrel® Rink on Saturday, February 11, 2012 from 10:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. This free, public event will include opening ceremonies and a speech by two-time Olympic gold medalist speed skater Catriona Le May Doan. An autograph-signing session by Doan, former Toronto Maple Leafs’ forward Darcy Tucker and four-time Olympic medalist Kristina Groves will follow, as well as free skating at Harbourfront and hot chocolate. The Intact Insurance Day on Skates schedule is as follows:
10:45 a.m. – Opening ceremony and speech by Catriona Le May Doan
10:55 a.m. – Award presentation to Brampton Speed Skating Club
11 a.m. – Autograph signing by Darcy Tucker, Catriona Le May Doan and Kristina Groves
