Are you looking for events and things to do during March Break (March 10-14, 2014) in Toronto? You may still have a chance to line up a March Break camp for your child. Other popular activities for March Break include skating at indoor rinks or cross-country skiing in the GTA. Most of the following activities are suitable for families, children, couples and singles.

Toronto Raptors’ Games March Break 2014

The Toronto Raptors play the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 7 p.m. at the Air Canada Centre. The Raptors also play a home game against the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 7 p.m. On Sunday, March 16, 2014, the Raptors play the Phoenix Sun. Toronto Raptors’ tickets are $12.50, $25, $38, $42, $45, $59, $61, $79, $107, $136, $175, $285, $383 and up.

Sap to Syrup at Downsview Park

Join representatives from Not Farm From The Tree to sample maple sugar sap and syrup at Downsview Park on Sunday, March 23, 2014 from 12 noon to 4 p.m. You’ll be able to learn how maple syrup is made and taste maple syrup tapped from the Downsview Park forest. Enjoy activities at the Orchard Pavilion clubhouse. Downsview Park is located at 1-35 Carl Hall Road.

March Break-a-Palooza at Casa Loma

Enjoy live performances of the Grinch, arts and crafts with that crazy cat, storytelling, performance art and screenings of animated films at March Break-a-Palooza from March 8-15, 2014 at Casa Loma. Tickets for Adults are $27, Seniors $21 and Children $17. Call 416-923-1171 for more information.

Arcade Fire at the ACC

Arcade Fire brings their Reflektor Tour to the Air Canada Centre on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for Arcade Fire’s Toronto appearance are $46.50, $66.50 and $86.50.

Maple Syrup Festival at Bruce’s Mill

The Sugarbush Maple Syrup Festival at Bruce’s Mill will be in full swing during March Break. The festival, which opens on Sat. March 1, 2014 and runs until Sun., April 6, 2014, demonstrates maple syrup production from tapping the tree trunks to boiling the sap, and includes live entertainment, crafts, a pancake lunch and wagon rides. Tickets are Adults $10, Seniors/Children $6.50 and children 4 and under Free. The festival hours during March Break are from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Bruce’s Mill is located at 3291 Stouffville Rd., Stouffville, 416-661-6600.

Junior Chef Camp at Montgomery’s Inn

Kids can participate in Junior Chef Camp at Montgomery’s Inn from March 10-14, 2014 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tailored for children ages 6-11, the March Break classes include meeting a farmer, visiting the on-site farmer’s market, planting seeds and cooking in the Inn’s kitchen. Kids will also have time to enjoy active play. Each day has a different theme and costs $35 plus tax (includes lunch). Disney on Ice at Rogers Centre

See your favourite Disney characters including Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck at Disney on Ice at The Rogers Centre from March 12-16, 2014 during March Break. Tickets for Disney on Ice are $102.75, $77.65, $52.65 and $36.75 and are available at Ticketmaster by calling 1-855-985-5000 or purchasing them at the Rogers Centre Box Office from noon to 6 p.m. (open at 10 a.m. on event days).
