Sheldon Cooper, eat your heart out. Toronto Comicon, which takes over the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from March 10-11, 2012, will bring together comic book fans, gamers and sci-fi geeks to peruse comic book vendors, obtain autographs from their favourite action heroes and sit-in on Q&A sessions with some of sci-fi TV’s biggest celebrities. This year’s guests include Tia Carrere of Wayne’s World, John de Lancie, Q on Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager.

Get autographs from Jason Eisner and Darren Lynn Bousman on Saturday and Caitlin Glass, Sonny Strait and Spike Spencer on Sunday. Sit in on Q&A sessions with Eddie McClintock, Robert Picardo, Nicole DeBoer and Bruce Boxleitner on Saturday and Curtis Armstrong, Robert Carradine, John de Lancie, Kristanna Loken and Charisma Carpenter on Sunday.

Toronto Comicon will be hosting a kick-off party at Tattoo Rock Parlour, 567 Queen St. W., on Fri., March 9, 2012 at 10 p.m. Email guestlist@G33KPRON for free admission of pay $10 at the door.

Tickets for Toronto Comicon are $20 for an all-day pass or $30 for a weekend pass and can be purchased online. Comicon show hours are Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  1. Don’t forget the anime and video game portion… PLEASE. You must remember, that this used to be the Anime convention before they added all the comic book aspects.
