
If you’re looking for an Easter gift, a Mother’s Day gift or some new pieces to spruce up your Spring 2012 wardrobe, you’ll want to drop by Toronto’s One of a Kind Spring Show and Sale 2012 at the Direct Energy Centre at Exhibition Place running from March 28 to April 1, 2012. The spring craft show features original clothing, accessories, jewellery, home decor, crafts, ceramics, art, wood, glass, photography, gourmet food and skincare products.
Many of the clothing designers at the One of Kind Spring Show and Sale hail from Ontario and Quebec and offer different pieces at accessible prices. Some of the designers worth checking out at the show include Mandala Design, Dinh Ba Design, Eve Gravel and Catherine Métivier of atelier b who are featuring prints and florals in their spring 2012 collections. Pair these dresses with spring 2012’s wedges and pastel sandals.
Fashion shows will take place every day with shows on Wednesday at 1 p.m.; Thursday and Friday at 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.; Saturday at 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. If you have a little one between the ages of 2-8 who really doesn’t go for the browsing and shopping thing, you can drop them off at the complimentary Family Centre for a maximum of one-and-a-half hours. The show will also be open until 11 p.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2012 for late night shopping.
Tickets are Adults $14 ($12 online), Seniors (65+) $7, Students (13-17) $7 and children 12 and under Free. The One of a Kind Spring Show hours are Wednesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. (except open Thursday until 11 p.m.) and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
