Steven Tyler, Joe Perry and the rest of the boys from Aerosmith are hitting the road for The Global Warming Tour with a stop at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. Cheap Trick (“I Want You to Want Me”) will be opening for the band. Aerosmith had iconic hits in the 70s and 80s with “Dream On,” “Sweet Emotion,” “Walk This Way,” “Back in the Saddle” and “Dude (Looks Like a Lady),” and continued their success throughout the subsequent decades with “Love in an Elevator,” “Janie’s Got a Gun,” “Cryin’,” “Crazy” and the mega-hit from the film, Armageddon, “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing.”
Since January 2011, Tyler has been showing a softer side as a judge on American Idol alongside Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson and demonstrated that his vocal chords are still solid at age 64 by singing “Dream On” on the show.
