Does your child brighten up others’ lives through his smile or his actions? Consider entering him in the GapKids and babyGap North American Casting Call contest. Gap is conducting a search for the brightest babies four and under and kids ages five to 12 in North America. Parents can upload up to five images of their baby or child from April 2-22, 2012 and will be required to provide a description about how their child brightens up the world, whether it be through their infectious smile or how they help to make their community better.
Gap judges will choose 20 finalists who will be flown to New York or California to participate in a Gap photo shoot and will receive a $500 Gap gift card. From May 21-25, 2012, online voters can then choose their favourite photos once a day from each of the boys’ and girls’ images in the babyGap and GapKids categories.
At the end of July 2012, four winners will be announced and will each win a $1,000 Gap gift card, a $10,000 grant in their name from Gap to Communities In Schools, a non profit that empowers students to stay in school and will be featured in a Gap marketing campaign.
Submissions will also be accepted on Gap’s Facebook page or through the Gap Casting Call app for iPhone and Android.
