Here are some suggestions to save you the time of searching for the perfect brunch spot for your mom’s special day.
Bodega Restaurant
This French-Provincial-inspired restaurant in a renovated house at Henry and Baldwin Streets will win your mom over with its crackling fireplace and stripped hardwood floors. If exquisite, fine dining is what your mom appreciates, then take her to George Restaurant at 111C Queen Street East, which is serving a Mother’s Day Brunch on Sunday, May 10, 2015 for $55 plus tax and tip (kids $15 plus tax and tip). The consistently award-winning restaurant, housed in a converted Victoria chocolate factory, will be offering a first course of Grilled Asparagus with Water Buffalo Yogourt OR Red Leaf Salad with Goat Cheese Rice Cakes OR Tomato Parsnip Soup with Fennel Sausage. The second course offerings are Cornish Hen with Mushroom Bruschetta OR Black Cod with Soft Polenta OR Artichoke Quiche with Eggplant Jam. The third course is Pavlova with Coconut Cream OR Chocolate Beignets with Vanilla Mascarpone OR Caramel Sponge with Spiced Pecans.
Globe Bistro

The elegant Globe Bistro at 124 Danforth Avenue will be serving a Mother’s Day prix fixe menu on Sunday, May 10, 2015. The Mother’s Day three-course brunch is $29 while a three-course Mother’s Day dinner is $35. A children’s menu is available for $10. The Mother’s Day menu will be available soon. Frank at the Art Gallery of Ontario
Frank Restaurant at the AGO is offering a Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet on Sunday, May 10, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. that includes fresh juice bar, breakfast pastries, Raclette & waffle bar, seafood station, a carving station, Mozzarella bar, Sushi and salad station, specialty egg and brunch items, a dessert station and a kid’s station. Oliver & Bonacini Café Grill Bayview Village
Located at 2901 Bayview Avenue in the Bayview Village Shopping Centre, Oliver & Bonacini Café Grill has now re-opened after extensive renovations. The O&B restaurant will be open for Mother’s Day in 2015 and serving Mother’s Day specials from 9:30 a.m. with their Sunday roast offered from 12 noon.
