If you’re in Toronto, there are slim pickings for fireworks displays in the GTA for the May 24, 2013 weekend, primarily as a result of the transformation of a major Ontario attraction and City of Toronto cutbacks. If you want to venture outside of Toronto, neighbouring municipalities including Markham and Milton are stepping up to fill in the May long weekend fireworks gap.

Ashbridge’s Bay Park Fireworks on May 20

Ashbridge’s Bay Park is the only City-of-Toronto-sponsored Victoria Day fireworks display this year so you’ll want to get there early on Mon., May 20, 2013 before the 9:45 p.m. fireworks. Ashbridge’s Bay Park is located at Lake Shore Blvd. E. and Coxwell Ave.
