Wild Water Kingdom in Brampton will include a new, face-first zip line when the water park opens for its 24th season on June 2, 2012. Visitors to the park will be able to try one of four, 1200-foot-long zip line rides either face first or in a seated position that will take passengers on a ride above the wave pool and the Caribbean Cove. The cost of Face Drop is $17.70 plus tax. Also new to Wild Water Kingdom in 2012 is a driving range with a tee system that automatically sets the tee at 4-second intervals. The system will also include touch screen technology that allows golfers to analyze their golf swing.

Visitors to the park will still be able to enjoy numerous water rides including speed slides, vertical drop slides, flume rides and tube slides. The Devil’s Drop will take you down a slide into an 8-foot pool while the What A Ball attraction will let you experience what it’s like to walk on water. Participants who attempt the Wild Water Rock Climbing Wall will get soaked as they negotiate the 25-foot wall. If you want to simply cool off on a hot day, check out the wave pool or Caribbean Cove. You’ll be able to rent your own cabana with lounge chairs, tables, chairs and food and drink service for $50 plus tax.

Wild Water Kingdom’s Drive-In features the latest Hollywood blockbusters including Marvel’s The Avengers, John Carter, Dark Shadows, The Lucky One, Battleship and What To Expect When You’re Expecting.

  1. How is the pools and the lazy river treated in the water park? Do you use Salt Water or chlorine? Also do you keep the pools heated and if so to what temperatures?
