Canada’s largest outdoor music and camping festival will welcome country music fans in Eastern Ontario. The 23rd annual Havelock Country Jamboree takes place from August 16-19, 2012 in Havelock, Ontario, just northeast of Peterborough. Headliners for the 2012 music festival include Lynyrd Skynyrd, Montgomery Gentry, George Canyon, Rosanne Cash, Creedence Clearwater Revisited, Emerson Drive, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Rita Coolidge, The Good Brothers, Stacey McKitrick, Kelly Vohnn, The Stellas and others.

You can select from a variety of campsites including Family Camping, Seniors Camping, Disabled Company and Late Night Camping. Don’t expect to do any sleeping if you choose Late Night Camping.

Items that you can bring to the jamboree include lawn chairs, blankets and food and drink coolers. No glass is permitted. Rough camping is available meaning there are no hydro or water hook-ups. While barbeques are allowed, you cannot light open flame fires. Small lap dogs are allowed as long as they do not bark excessively or cause other disturbances. Call the office to determine if your breed is allowed.

You can purchase one day tickets for $150 or if you want to camp out for the festival, single night camping is $160 while full festival camping is $300 (Adults) and $180 (Youths). Reserved camping for two adults for six additional days in addition to the festival is $735. Tickets for the Havelock Country Jamboree may be purchased online, by calling 1-800-539-3353 or at the gate.
