If you can’t make it to Kitchener-Waterloo for Oktoberfest this fall, don’t panic: Toronto Oktoberfest will be taking place on Friday, September 27 and Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Kool Haus – Guvernment Entertainment Complex, a bigger venue than previous years. Here’s your chance to try German and European beers including Tyskie, Stiegl, Weihenstephan, Mill Street Brewery, Lech Premium, as well as Badischer Winzerkeller Pinot Noir and enjoy the German festhalle experience with traditional Bavarian live music, folk dancers and an Oompah band.

Chef Marc Thuet of Petite Thuet will be preparing Oktoberfest fare to be washed down with premium beer.

The Tapping of the Keg event will demonstrate how to open a keg and will include performances by the George Kash Oktoberfest Express Experience and the Almrausch Folk Dance Group, as well as interactive contests, singing and dancing.
