Just in time to welcome the festive winter season, the Downtown Yonge Business Improvement Association will be hosting the Winter Magic Festival in Toronto on Sat., Nov. 22, 2013 on Elm Street between Yonge Street and Bay Street. If you’re spending the day at Eaton Centre getting a leg up on your Christmas shopping, you can wrap up the day by heading two blocks north to Elm Street to enjoy sample culinary offerings and seasonal cocktails right on the street from Elm Street’s upscale restaurants including Oro, Adega, Donatello, Bangkok Garden, The Queen and Beaver Public House, Barberian’s Steak House and Matagali Restaurant.
Enjoy live entertainment including Beatboxer The Human Record, as well as ice carvers, fire breathers and others. Check out the Ice Martini Lounge or wine tasting patio for cool refreshments.
Elm Street will be closed to traffic during the festival, which takes place from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
