
The All-Canadian line-up for the 100th Anniversary Grey Cup Festival at the Rogers Centre in Toronto will feature Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jepsen, Gordon Lightfoot and Marianas Trench performing at the half-time show and Burton Cummings and Johnny Reid opening the kick-off show at the 100th Anniversary Grey Cup on November 25, 2012 at Rogers Centre.
Many local events are planned to celebrate the CFL’s 100th Grey Cup including street festivals, concerts, family zones, players’ parties and a gala. Some of the events include:
The Molson Canadian House Concert Series will feature the Sam Roberts Band, Matthew Good and Treble Charger on Fri., Nov. 23, 2012 at 6 p.m. at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. On Sat., Nov. 24, 2012 at 6 p.m., Molson Canadian House’s Concert Series features Big Sugar, April Wine and Kim Mitchell. General admission tickets for both concerts are $55.50
The TELUS Street Festival will feature live concerts, team parties, food and beer tents on Front Street from Simcoe to John and north to King Street on Nov. 24 and 25 at 12 p.m.
The Nissan Family Zone at Yonge-Dundas Square will demonstrate to kids basic football techniques, as well as feature food stations, live music and cheerleader performances. The Nissan Family Fun Zone takes place on Nov. 17 at 12 p.m., Nov. 18 at 11 a.m. and Nov. 22, 23 and 24 at 10 a.m.

The TELUS PLayers’ Party, sponsored by FLOW 93.5 will feature Juno award winner K’Naan, Kardinal Offishall, Mia Martina and Kreesha Turner. The party takes place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on Thurs., Nov. 22 at 8 p.m. and tickets are $55.50.
Entertainers Chris Willis and Brad Mates, lead vocalist of Emerson Drive will perform at the Scotiabank 100th Grey Cup Gala on Rogers Field. Celebrity chef and Head Judge of Top Chef Canada Mark McEwan and Buca’s Executive Chef Rob Gentile will be serving up delicious cuisine.
