
Canadian crooner Matt Dusk will be performing at a free holiday concert at the kick-off of Bloor-Yorkville BIA.’s Holiday Magic on Saturday, November 17, 2012 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Dusk will sing selections from his upcoming album, My Funny Valentine: The Chet Baker Songbook, at the official lighting ceremony at the Village of Yorkville Park at Cumberland Street and Bellair Street. The holiday lights will be lit up through December 2012.
Dusk has had several hits including “Back in Town,” “All About Me,” “Good News” and “Two Shots of Happy, One Shot of Sad” and will release a new album in the winter of 2012.
Hosted by Global Toronto’s Liza Fromer and Antony Robart, the event will also feature complimentary hot apple cider and freshly baked cookies for guests to enjoy while watching the concert. Cash and cheque donations will be accepted for Sick Kids Foundation.
