
Beyoncé will be stopping at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre on her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour on Sunday, July 2, 2013 at 8 p.m. Beyoncé has received 16 Grammy Awards as a solo artist and as part of Destiny’s Child and has sold over 75 million records worldwide. The R&B singer’s solo hits include “Crazy in Love,” “Baby Boy” and “Me, Myself and I” from the album Dangerously in Love, “Ring the Alarm,” “Green Light” and “Get Me Bodified” from B’Day and “If I Were a Boy,” “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It).” “Halo” and “Sweet Dreams” from I Am…Sasha Fierce.
Displaying her acting chops, Beyoncé played Etta James in Cadillac Records and later starred in Dreamgirls, for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award. Beyoncé will star as Queen Tara in Epic, a 3D CGI animated film to be released in May 2013.
Recently, Beyoncé sang at President Obama’s inauguration and performed at the Super Bowl Half Time Show on February 3, 2013.
Tickets for Beyoncé at Air Canada Centre on July 2, 2013 are $168 and $268 and go on sale Mon., Feb. 11, 2013 at 10 a.m. EST.
