
The Heart and Stroke Foundation’s 6th annual Heart Truth Fashion Show will take place on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 9 p.m. at David Pecaut Square as part of Toronto’s World MasterCard® Fashion Week. This year’s models, who will showcase fashions by Canadian designers, include the following athletes, actors, musicians and celebrities, as well as Models of Health, active senior women chosen for making heart healthy choices throughout their lives:
- Jaime Salé, World Champion and Olympic Gold Medallist, Pair Skating;
- Cheryl Bernard, Olympic Silver Medallist, Women’s Curling;
- Actress Lauren Holly;
- Hayley Wickenheiser, Women’s National Ice Hockey Team Captain and Four-Time Olympic Medallist;
- Sonja Smits, Actor/Founder – Closson Chase Vineyards;
- Liona Boyd, singer/songwriter and guitarist
- Jennifer Valentyne, LiveEye Host of Citytv’s Breakfast Television;
- Suhana Meharchand, Host, CBC News Network

The public can purchase a limited number of VIP tickets for the Heart Truth Fashion Show at $50 each, with proceeds going to the Heart and Stroke Foundation’s The Heart Truth campaign. Tickets for the fashion show go on sale February 25, 2013 and will be available on a first come, first served basis. If you can’t make it to the show, you can watch the Heart Truth Fashion Show streamed live on March 21, 2013 at 9 p.m. EST and on the Heart Truth’s Facebook page.
