Toronto Blue Jays Pitcher R.A. Dickey will appear at Chapters in downtown Toronto for a book signing of his memoir, Wherever I Wind Up, on Monday, April 22, 2013 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Dickey’s memoir tracks the pitcher’s struggles in Major League Baseball and ultimate success. Dickey had a stellar year in 2012, being nominated to the 2012 All-Star Game and then being named the 2012 National League Cy Young Award winner. Dickey was acquired by the Jays from the New York Mets in December 2012. Dickey is the only pitcher in Major League Baseball to use the knuckleball as his primary pitch.

Dickey will also be signing, Throwing Strikes, the memoir adapted for Young Readers.

A wristband policy is in effect. Wristbands will be distributed at Chapters at 142 John Street at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 22, 2013. All individuals who receive a wristband will be able to get their R.A. Dickey memoir signed. Wristbands are non-transferable. R.A. Dickey will sign his memoir only. No memorabilia, clothing, posters, books, DVDs or other items will be signed. Candid photos are permitted.
