If you are parents-to-be or have children up to preschool age, you’ll want to check out the Baby Time Show at Toronto’s International Centre on April 26, 27 and 28, 2013. The show features over 250 exhibitors, as well as seminars from leading pregnancy and parenting experts.

You’ll find baby products and services including baby accessories, baby slings, photography, baby monitors, baby clothing, strollers, car seats, organic products, diapers, baby skincare products, toys, books and music among the many exhibitors at the show.

Drop by the Toddler Time Stage with your little one to see appearances by Bob the Builder, DJ The Entertainer and Barney, who is celebrating his 25th birthday.

Swing by the Fun and Fitness Stage and find out how to rescue your family in 60 seconds at this 60-minute seminar led by Kavita Chauhan, B. Sc Hlth & Kin. The Power of Touch by Margaret Wallis-Duffy will share tips and hands-on techniques about baby massage for relieving gas and assisting sleep and weight gain.

Snugabug Art and Portrait Studios will be offering a show special for children’s portraits with seasonal backdrops (cash only).

The Seminar Stage will feature the following speakers:

  • Ann Douglas, author of The Mother of All Pregnancy and The Mother of All Baby Books will speak on the Seminar Stage
  • Brian Russell, Provincial Coordinator for Dad Central Ontario will discuss the need for fathers to be responsibly involved with their children
  • Lianne Phillipson-Webb, Dip. ION, RNCP will provide advice on family nutrition
  • Jill Davies, M. Sc. and CCGC will discuss Prenatal Screening Options and new technology.

If you are a mom-to-be, be sure to visit the Bayview Sheppard RMT clinic for a complimentary pregnancy massage. The StrollerSpa will offer free spring tune-ups of your stroller. If you are breastfeeding, you can nurse your baby in private during the show at Medela nursing centres.

The Baby Show takes place at the International Centre, Hall 5, 6900 Airport Road. Show hours are Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tickets are Adults $16, grandparents $10 and children 12 and under Free. Tickets purchased at the Box Office are cash only.
