Even though Ontario Place is still closed for renovations, the Molson Amphitheatre and Echo Beach are open for summer concerts. Certain to be one of Toronto’s most celebrated outdoor concerts for 2013, the CBCMusic.ca Festival will take place at Echo Beach at Ontario Place on Saturday, May 25, 2013.
With a backdrop of the CN Tower and the Toronto skyline, the festival will feature headliner the Sam Roberts Band with guests Of Monks And Men, Kathleen Edwards, Sloan, Half Moon Run, Jarvis Church, Shakura S’Aida, Elisapie and Aidan Knight. There will be a special appearance by CBC’s Q host, Jian Ghomeshi.
Tickets are available at Ticketmaster for $76.25. Doors open at 2 p.m.
Echo Beach is located in Ontario Place at 999 Lake Shore Blvd. West and is on the eastern section of Ontario Place near Ontario Place Blvd.
