One way to get through this hot, humid weekend is to head down to Woodbine Park in the Beaches neighbourhood to enjoy the free Waterfront Blues Festival. Returning for its 9th year, the music festival showcases international blues artists from May 31 to June 2, 2013.

While you’re at the festival, you can enjoy grilled summer favourites from the award-winning BBQ while the kids play in the children’s amusement area. Kids can enter the “Don’t Lose The Blues” Contest to win prizes. Free admission.
