If you’re a fan of The Sheepdogs, you’ve got to come out to the launch of the fourth annual Open Roof Festival on Thursday, June 20, 2013 on Queens Quay East. The Sheepdogs will be performing live before the premiere of the film, The Sheepdogs Have At It. The documentary follows the journey of the band from their roots in Saskatoon to their new-found celebrity after appearing on Rolling Stone Magazine to a Nashville Recording Studio where they are recording their next album.

Refreshments will be provided by Amsterdam Brewery and food vendors Fidel Gastro and Crepe It Up.

Open Roof Festival is a not for profit, outdoor music and film festival, highlighting Canadian and international independent filmmakers and artists. Almost entirely volunteer-driven, the festival’s proceeds support Canada’s independent film production and music communities.

Follow @OpenRoofFest on Twitter for festival updates and contests.

Open Roof Festival is at The Moonview Lot, 175 Queen Quay Boulevard East with pay parking lots close by. Tickets are $25 and some tickets will be available at the door. The doors open at 7:30 p.m. The Sheepdogs perform at 8 p.m. and the film screening is at 9 p.m. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis and the event is rain or shine.
