Torontonicity was invited to attend the Bungalow 8 and Worldview party celebrating Worldview’s film premieres at the Toronto International Film Festival 2013. I attended the exclusive pop-up party on September 7, 2013 at the Thompson Toronto rooftop for celebrities, film industry executives, production staff and local media.

Worldview’s films premiering at TIFF 2013 include Blood Ties with Mila Kunis, Zoe Saldana, Clive Owen and Marion Cotillard, Devil’s Knot with Reese Witherspoon and directed by Adam Egoyan, The Green Inferno, Joe starring Nicholas Cage and Tye Sheridan, The Sacrament and The Square.
We were ushered into the party and couldn’t help but notice the very tight security guarding the elevators to the Thompson Toronto rooftop. Once there, we were treated to an open bar until 4 a.m. featuring Grey Goose Vodka, Moet & Chandon champagne and other premium spirits and wines.

Actress Eve Hewson, who has a role in Blood Ties premiering at TIFF 2013 and has worked with Sean Penn in This Must Be the Place (and also happens to be the daughter of U2’s Bono), looked demure in black and white.

Sarah Paulson looked stunning in a little white dress with silver glitter detailing. Paulson starred in TV’s Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and appears in the TIFF premiere, Twelve Years a Slave, with Brad Pitt.

Jeremy Irvine, who starred in Steven Spielberg’s War Horse, looked chicly casual in fitted jacket and jeans. Irvine also stars in The Railway Man, making it’s TIFF premiere, with Colin Firth and Nicole Kidman.

Actress Lupita Nyong’o, who stars in Twelve Years a Slave, paired Fall 2013’s hot animal print pumps with a fire engine red dress for dramatic effect.

Imogen Poots, who stars in the upcoming film, Are We Officially Dating? with Zac Efron, looked decidedly summery in this girlish cocktail dress.

The vibe at the Thompson Toronto rooftop is super classy, yet relaxed, with an outdoor pool against an unparalleled view of the Toronto skyline. We enjoyed the lounge style music by Benji Boko.

A magical evening with a picturesque patio and pretty people.
