Fall is here and it’s time for Casey House’s annual fundraiser, Art with Heart, presented by TD. A few years ago, I volunteered as a docent for Art with Heart at the Carlu. The experience was an eye-opener into the business side of art bringing together many sophisticated collectors and people who simply love art to marvel at the works and participate in the authentic art auction. I also learned about many existing and emerging artists whose works were donated to be sold at the auction. Many of these artists’ work have appeared in the Art Gallery of Ontario and other museums.
