The second annual Toronto’s Hottest Chef Competition returns to Toronto on October 30, 2013 at the Great Hall and the polls are now open to vote for the sexiest chef in Toronto Contest: Torontonicity is giving away one copy of White CollarSeason 4 on DVD.

Contest closes October 18, 2013 at 11:59 p.m.) This annual event, organized by Kristina Chau and Stella Yu, not only gives Toronto the opportunity to meet the chefs in the kitchens of some great Toronto restaurants, but to raise funds for charity since all the proceeds raised from the event will go to the winning chef’s charity of choice.
This year, some of the participants include Roger Mooking of the Cooking Channel’s Man Fire Food, Jordan Caverly, Chef de partie at Café Boulud, Alexandra Feswick, Executive Chef, The Samuel J. Moore, Dan Pantano, Chef/Owner of GLAS Wine Bar, Adam Alguire, Sous Chef at County General, Robin Dutt, Line Cook, the Drake Hotel, Liam Kelly, Chef/Owner of The Rude Boy and Tyler Cunningham, Chef/Owner of The Whippoorwhill.

Initial voting for the hottest chef takes place from Oct. 2-6, 2013, after which 15 contestants will be chosen. From Oct. 8-13, the second round of voting occurs to choose the eight contestants who will compete in the grand finale. Those eight contestants will compete at the event on October 30 by preparing 300 canapés to be sampled by attendees to seek their final votes.
Toronto’s Hottest Chef Competition takes place at the Great Hall, 1087 Queen Street West, on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Tickets for Toronto’s Hottest Chef Competition are $35 and include canapés and one cocktail and can be purchased online.
