Designer Evik Asatoorian dazzled the audience with the Canadian brand, Rudsak, at the unveiling of the Spring/Summer 2014 collection on Thursday, October 24, 2013 during Toronto Fashion Week.

Showcasing out–of-this-world outerwear, playing with colour and texture, integrating python and crocodile skins, as well as metallics on skirts, jackets and vests, he wowed attendees.

The Spring/Summer 2014 Rudsak Collection updates classics with an edgy rock influence to produce a line that wavers between refined and risqué.

“I’ve been in this business for 20 years and I still feel the same passion and excitement as I did when I launched the brand,” says Asatoorian on his brand’s platinum anniversary. “For spring, I drew inspiration from our classics but refined the tailoring to appeal to our modern customer.”

We’ll be seeing more of the Rudsak brand in the city. The Montreal-based retailer will open five retail stores in Toronto in 2014.
