The holidays will soon be here; it’s time to get your health fix on at the 27th annual Whole Life Expo 2013 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from November 22-24, 2013. The weekend conference, which showcases natural health, green living and integrative medicine, features over 225 vendors representing health products, vitamins, herbs, green products, healthy cuisines, supplements, ant-aging products, eco clothing, books, body and skin care, healing jewelry, stones and an organic market.

You’ll not only get to shop for a variety of health products and sample superfoods, you’ll be able to listen to over 80 speakers on a variety of health-related topics including the following lectures:

Lectures on Friday, Nov. 22, 2013

Blair Kovacs will explain how Chaga mushrooms to rejuvenate exhausted adrenals and boost Qi power, in addition to preventing disease. Stage Two from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.

Julie Daniluk, author and RHN, discusses the benefits of the anti-inflammatory diet including healing chronic inflammation, reducing pain, balancing brain chemistry. Lecture Hall D, F from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Lectures on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013

Dr. Cass Ingram, DO, will discuss the popularity of wild foods such as wild green extract, wild berries and birch bark for their health-boosting properties. Lecture Hall 206 D, F from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

Kristen Ma, owner of Pure and Simple, will discuss how to get beautiful skin naturally. The first 100 people at the lecture will receive a complimentary pack of anti-aging serum and moisturizer. Lecture Hall 206, A, B from 2 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.

Darrick Kim, PhD, will show how natural superfoods can provide a treatment for Alzheimer’s Disease that rejuvenates damaged neurons. Lecture Hall 206 D, F from 2:15 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Gail Thackray, medium, presents a demonstration of connecting to spirit and will lead a group meditation for healing. Thackray will also give readings and clear auras. Lecture Hall 206 D, F from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Lectures on Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013

Dini Petty, broadcaster, will share her experience of severe menopause and the natural remedies she used to relieve her symptoms. Lecture Hall 205 from 1:15 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Dr. Michael Schecter, DDS, discusses the use of ozone in dentistry as an effective treatment for infection and inflammation. Stage One from 4 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.

The Whole Life Expo takes place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, North Building, 255 Front Street West. A Weekend Lecture Pass is $15 (for all lectures, exhibits and stages) and a Weekend Exhibit Pass is $10 (for all exhibits and stages).
