Canadian artists are coming together to participate in Canada for Philippines, a benefit concert at the Fairmont Royal York’s Concert Hall on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at 7 p.m. The evening will feature performances by Toronto’s original Miss Saigon, Ma-Anne Dionisio, Canadian Idol finalist Martha Joy and Cornelia Luna of Toronto’s Les Miserables.
Other performers at the benefit concert include Juno-award winning artist, Lights, Maria Aragon, whose Youtube video of Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” went viral and Canadian singer-songwriter Amy Sky. The evening will be hosted by Filipino-Canadian VJ Jeff Rustia of BPM:TV, CBC’s Jian Ghomeshi, HGTV’s Cheryl Torrenueva, Filipina supermodel Karina Cabiling and others.
Canada for Philippines takes place at the Concert Hall at Fairmont Royal York Hotel, 100 Front Street West on Sunday, November 24, 2013 from 7 p.m. to 9:30 pm. Tickets are $60 for general admission and $100 for VIP seating and can be purchased online.
All proceeds will benefit World Vision’s relief efforts in the Philippines.
