Take the chill off of January by attending the Roundhouse Winter Craft Beer Festival at Roundhouse Park in Toronto. Taking place on Saturday, January 25, 2014 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the festival, hosted by Steam Whistle Brewing, will transform Roundhouse Park into a giant party for craft beer lovers.
To participate, you need to purchase a Sampling Mug, which is available for $20 in advance or for $25 at the gate. Sampling tickets in the form of wooden nickels cost $1. The first 500 people through the gates will receive a free Roundhouse Winter Fest toque.
Craft beer brewers scheduled to be part of the Winter Craft Beer Festival include Steam Whistle Brewing, Black Oak Brewing, Flying Monkeys Brewery, Great Lakes Brewing, Amsterdam Brewery, King Brewery, Left Field Brewery, Mill St. Brewery, F&M Brewery, Grand River Brewing, Wellington Brewery, Niagara College Brewery, Beau’s Brewery, Neustadt Springs Brewery and Lake of Bays Brewing.
Enjoy poutine from Smokes Poutinerie, Beaver Tails, pretzel necklaces and gourmet grilled cheese from Gorilla Grilled Cheese. Warm up with hot beverages from Reunion Island Coffee.
There will be outdoor port-o-potties, limited outdoor heating, indoor bathrooms and warm-up areas.
The features of Ontario Craft Brewers include traditional brewing, independent ownership, smaller batches, artisanal styles, quality ingredients and all-natural and undiluted beers.
