If the holidays have left you all tapped out, but you’re still looking for some cultural stimulation, you may want to check out the following free concerts offered at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto in January 2014:

The Concert Series: The Colours of Passion takes place on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 from 12 noon to 1 p.m. and features Algerian pianist Mehdi Ghazi who will be exploring a program that includes work by Rachmaninov, de Falla, Prokofiev and Messiaen.

Canadian jazz pianist Joe Sealy takes the stage on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., along with Paul Novotny on bass and Daniel Barnes on drums. The jazz trio will play standards and original compositions.

Concerts take place at the Richard Bradshaw Amphitheatre at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts at 145 Queen Street West. Be sure to get there early to secure a seat.
