Tired of this long Toronto winter with endless snowstorms, frigid temperatures and icy roads? You can look forward to Canada Blooms at the Direct Energy Centre from March 14-23, 2014. The largest flower and garden festival in Canada features six acres of gardens, presesntations on gardening topics and workshops to improve your skills.

This year, there are a number of workshops you can attend, including:
- Early Morning Photography on Fri., March 14, 2014 or Sat., March 15, 2014 at 8:30 a.m. with Mark Trusz. $45
- Create a Fairy Garden – Make and Take Project presented by Valleybrook Nurseries on Sat., March 15, 2014 at 12 p.m. Instructor: Sheridan Nursery Expert. $70 (includes fairy garden kit and plants)
- Home Decor: Bring Living Things into Your Living Space on Tues., March 18, 2014 at 11 a.m. with Jennifer Harvey, CFD. $45
- Bring Your Garden Inside on Fri., March 21, 2014 at 1 p.m. with Jennifer Harvey, CFD. $45

Canada Blooms takes place at the Direct Energy Centre at Exhibition Place from March 14-23, 2014. Tickets are Adult (18+) $17, Senior (65+) $14, Student (13-17) $13. Two-day admissions are $29. All tickets also include admission to the National Home Show. There is free parking from Monday to Friday after 4 p.m.
