The Toronto Maple Leafs will hold a team practice at Greenwood Park on Friday, February 21, 2014. The practice, which is hosted by Sport Chek, the Toronto Maple Leafs and MLSE Foundation, will take place from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and is open and free to the public.

Of course, not all of the Leafs will be there. Phil Kessel and James van Riemsdyk, currently playing for the U.S. Olympic men’s hockey team, will be gearing up for their semi-final game against Canada on Friday, February 21, 2014. But you should have more than enough time to get home after the Leafs’ practice since the semi-final men’s hockey game doesn’t start until 12 noon on Friday.

Greenwood Park features Toronto’s first covered ice rink, which opened in November 2013. There is also an uncovered skating trail adjacent to the rink.

The event also includes a special Leafs Fan Zone area, as well as giveaways from Carlton and the Blue Crew. In addition, Toronto Maple Leafs’ alumni will be signing autographs.

You can enjoy public skating at the covered Greenwood ice rink after the practice.

Greenwood Park is located at 150 Greenwood Avenue, just south of Gerrard Street East.
