There is a new restaurant in the Ossington neighbourhood, Ossington Stop, and they are opening their kitchen to offer free lunch to the public on Thursday, July 17, 2014 from noon to 5 p.m. Ossington Stop, located at 1164 Dundas Street West, is a small, affordable eatery whose kitchen will be open until 4 a.m. on weekends for late night snacks.
The menu features affordable food staples that have been upgraded with gourmet ingredients. Some of Ossington Stop’s menu items include:
Soft Shell Beef Tacos, $3.50 each

You also won’t have to fork out a lot for drinks at Ossington Stop. Beer is $4, wine is $5 a glass and shots are $4 while doubles at $7.
Owner William Tavares created Ossington Stop to provide affordable bites and cheap drinks for lunch, dinner and late night snacks. “I just wanted to do something special for a neighbourhood that has always embraced myself and my endeavours,” says Tavares, who also owns Ossington Avenue’s Fishbar.
