Fan Expo Canada arrives in Toronto from August 28-31, 2014 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Here’s your opportunity to meet some of your favourite comic, Sci Fi and horror series heros. Some of the celebrities appearing at Fan Expo Canada include:

Meet Lisa and Louise Burns, the Grady Twins from Stanley Kubrick’s film adaptation of Stephen King’s The Shining. The two will speak about their experience on The Shining and take audience questions.

Fan Expo Canada takes place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, 255 Front Street West. Fan Expo Canada hours are Thursday, August 28 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday, August 29 and Saturday, August 30 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Sunday, August 31 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Even though I never got into sci-fi, horror, and comic books, the expo really does seem like a lot of fun. I was taken aback when I learned that you’re charged a fee to have your photo taken with a celebrity.
I’ve never really been into sci-fi either, but there are a few celebrities I would enjoy meeting. Yes, the photo fees are a bit steep, aren’t they? Cheers, Lori
