Love to laugh? You’ll get a chance for ten solid days as the JFL42 Festival comes to Toronto from September 18 to 27, 2014 at several of the city’s venues. Organized by the Just For Laughs folks, the festival features headliners including Seth Meyers, Lena Dunham, Amy Schumer, Nick Offerman, Wanda Sykes, and Joe Rogan.

JFL42, created by Just For Laughs, is an interactive comedy festival where guests who purchase show passes chose the headliner show they want to see, as well as shows from the 42 other comedy acts. Demand for certain shows can result in shows being added or venues being moved to larger spaces. Guests of the festival can tailor their schedule using their smartphones.
Once you buy your pass and choose the headliner that you want to see, you will receive up to 10 extra credits (depending on the type of pass you buy) to choose shows among the other 42 artists.

Some of the JFL42 venues in Toronto include the Sony Centre, the Queen Elizabeth Theatre, the Garrison, the Randolph Theatre, the Rivoli, the Bad Dog Comedy Theatre, the Comedy Bar, the Mod Club and Second City.
If your favourite show is already filled, add it to your wishlist and the JFL42 Festival may consider moving the show to a larger venue or adding another show.
Here is the breakdown on tickets: If you’re not interested in seeing a headlining act, Just ‘The 42’ passes start at $49 and include two credits. Tickets for one headliner are $45.50 or $55.50 depending on the headliner. The Classic JFL42 pass, which starts at $69, will give you one headliner’s show and two credits for access to the 42 other comedy acts.
