The growing popularity of tea is evidenced by the return of the Toronto Tea Festival, taking place on Saturday, January 31 and Sunday, February 1, 2015 at the Bram & Bluma Appel Salon at the Toronto Reference Library. The popular festival showcases both traditional and modern tea and we’re giving away two tickets to a lucky winner.

Enjoy complimentary teaย tastings and tea foods while witnessing formalย teaย ceremonies in the Japanese, Chinese and Korean styles. To learn more about tea and tea culture, you can attend seminars by speakers and authors in dedicated rooms at the salon.

Be sure to visit all of the exhibitors to find out about and take home special tea blends,ย tea-related products and exquisiteย teaย ware by artisans. Listen to tea-inspired music while perusing the exhibits, and watch a fashion show featuring the old Hanfu style clothing.

Early Bird tickets (to January 20, 2015) are $12 (one day) and $20 (two days). After January 20, 2015, tickets are $15 (one day) and $25 (two days).

  1. My favourite tea is jasmine oolong! Got some for Christmas from a brother and it’s so perfect! Reminds me of the warmer weather and of blooming plants!
