This year again, admission to Canada’s largest flower and garden festival will include free admission to the National Home Show, also located at the Direct Energy Centre.

If you are bringing the kids to Canada Blooms, you’ll want to bring them to the hands-on learn how to garden workshops. Kids will be able to take home their own vegetables and flowers to begin gardening at home.
Canada Blooms takes place at the Direct Energy Centre at Exhibition Place from March 13-22, 2015. Show hours are Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday, March 15, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, March 22, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Tickets to Canada Blooms are Adult (18+) $17, Senior (65+) $14, Student (13-17) $13 and 2-day admission $29.

I love gerbera daisies!
I think it’s a great idea to have how-to garden workshops for kids. Kids will have a chance to get their hands dirty, literally! Having fun and learning at the same time – great combo.
