With the brutal winter we’ve had in Toronto so far, it’s hard to believe that spring is a month away. Let’s forget about winter for a minute and take a peek at shoe trends for spring 2015. Hues for spring fashions are cooler and softer according to the Pantone Color Report for Spring 2015.

This Rivet slingback sandal from Coach combines the wedge heel from the 70s and updates it with a refined narrower toe with silver studs. This metallic shoe in Classic Blue will go with all of the blue and gray shades (Aquamarine/Classic Blue/Glacier Gray) that are in style this season.

These yellow Lilia flat sandals from Aldo, $60, will provide whimsy to your wardrobe. Pair them with white jeans or capris and a pastel top in a solid or multi-colour (Strawberry Ice/Tangerine/Lucite Green/Aquamarine).

These Tapered mid pumps from Nine West available at Town Shoes, $110, will perk up a solid colour dress in many of the popular spring 2015 colours including Custard/Strawberry Ice/Tangerine/Lucite Green/Classic Blue/Glacier Gray/Aquamarine.

Love orange? These Natalia Leather Peep Toe Wedges from Michael Kors, $135, in Mandarin would provide a stunning contrast to spring and summer 2015 blues and grays (Classic Blue/Aquamarine/Glacier Gray).

A neutral wedge shoe will go a long way in spring and summer. This Ainsley Wishbone wedge at Johnston and Murphy, $240, can be paired with a solid colour dress in any of the spring and summer 2015 colours shown above.

What is summer without a white sandal to go with almost everything? These Tasely Sandals from Kate Spade, $250, would look great with jeans and a tee in any of the spring and summer 2015 colours.
The Kate Spade sandals would also look nice with a flowy sundress. I bet they’re comfortable, too. I had a much cheaper pair that looked similar – they had the same type of platform, and I wore them everywhere!
Hi Grace, Yes, I agree! The Kate Spade sandals would look great with a breezy sundress! Yes, I’m sure there are much cheaper versions of this sandal around! Cheers, Lori
I’m loving those yellow sandals. I think they would go great with my wardrobe. 🙂
Hi Mary, I love those yellow sandals too! I can see them suiting many items in my wardrobe! Cheers, Lori
