The Toronto Food and Drink Market
The Toronto Food and Drink Market comes to the Direct Energy Centre in Toronto April 10-12, 2015. The market will feature food demonstrations with local chefs, a Farmers Market and an opportunity to sample gourmet cuisine, VQA wine and craft beer from the many exhibitors on site.
Learn about food labels, raw foods, super food, plant-based meals and foods for healthy aging from speakers on the Health and Wellness Stage.

Well-known Master Chefs will be preparing some of their favourite dishes during the following demos:
- Spring in Tuscany on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 2 p.m. First-come, first-serve (limited to 40 people). Tania Ganassini, a finalist on Chopped Canada, will prepare Grilled Panzanella Salad with Caper Vinaigrette, Bistecca Fiorentina with soft polenta and Ontario mushroom ragu and Amaretti cookies with fresh Ontario ricotta, Niagara preserves and maple syrup.
- Between the Lines Grand Tasting on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 4 p.m. Winemaker Yannick Wertsch will share his portfolio of Gewurztraminer, Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc and Vidal Icewine.
- Susur Lee on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 6 p.m. Lee will be making Chiang Mai Filet of Beef with Garlic Shrimp; Saffron Tomato Rice; Green Mango Salad and Papdum. Cost is $50;
- Fish Street Seafood on Sunday, April 12, 2015 will hold a food demonstration on a first-come, first-serve basis (limited to 40 people). The demo will include Smoked Salmon Rolls, Salmon Gnocchi, and Pickled Mixed Berries.
Drop by the Farmers Market to take home cheese, meat, poultry, baked goods, preserves, pickles, VQA wines, juices, smoothies, coffee and tea.
The Food Truck Alley showcases tasty offerings from local food trucks.

The Toronto Food and Drink Market hours are Friday, April 10, 2015 from 12 noon to 9 p.m., Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, April 12, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Tickets are General Admission (13+) $12, Senior Admission (65+) $11 and Group Admission (10+ people) $10. Sampling tickets are required for alcohol sampling and can be purchased at the market.
