One of a Kind Christmas Show 2015
I must say the One of a Kind Christmas Show 2015 is one of the most anticipated craft shows each and every year with its offerings of literally thousands of unique, amazing, whimsical, delicious items from over 800 vendors from all over Canada. The show, which is held at the Enercare Centre at Toronto’s Exhibition Place, runs from Thursday, Nov. 26, 2015 until Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015.
One needs to be prepared for this show with comfortable shoes, layered clothing for easy removal when you get a little warm, or for trying on the many clothing and accessory items being showcased…and don’t forget your holiday shopping list for entertaining and for gift giving.

This show definitely can check off everything on your holiday list from food to decorating to gift ideas.

Truthfully, you should try to schedule visiting the One of a Kind Christmas Show twice in order to be able to visit each and every booth.
I was fortunate to be able to attend the annual media breakfast that is held before the show opens on its first day, which was Thursday, Nov. 26 this year. The breakfast was prepared by Chef Cory Vitiello, one of this year’s ambassadors for the One of a Kind Show, who oversees the kitchen at The Harbord Room. The breakfast was as pleasing on the eyes as it was on our sense of smell and taste, and included:
- Crispy Fingerling Potatoes, Beet and Apple Horseradish, Smoked Albacore Loin
- Spanish Frittata Layered with Herbed Crêpes, Piquillo Peppers and Romesco Hollandaise
- Smoked Brisket & Salsa Verde with Crispy Onions, Cured Egg Yolk & Grilled Sourdough
- Brioche & Dried Wild Blueberry Bread Pudding with Lemon Crème Fraiche
- Fried Green Tomatoes with Soft Scrambled Eggs & Old White Cheddar

After a fabulous breakfast, tea and my energy drink, we were off and running. There was so much to see and do with over 800 vendors covering everything from fashion for young and old, accessories, toys, furniture, collectibles, home décor, flavours and much more, as well as fashion shows and DIY workshops.

Whew, what an amazing day! Six hours later and with all my lists covered, it was time to head home and start wrapping. With a visit to the One of a Kind Christmas Show, you can see why it is rated as the best of its kind in all of Canada by shoppers and the vendors themselves. A must visit Toronto Christmas event!
