March Break Camps Toronto 2016

March Break in Toronto 2016 is March 14-18, 2016 so it’s time to start booking your kids into March Break camps in order to secure a spot. We’ve highlighted several March Break Camps Toronto 2016 for your children to consider.

Dance March Break Camp at Cornerstone Studio

The Cornerstone Studio is offering a full day of Visual Arts, Music, Theatre and Dance for March Break from Monday, March 14 to Friday, March 18, 2016 for ages 7+. Students will learn dance styles including Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, House, Breakdance, Afro-Caribbean, Improvisation and composition. Students will study each dance style and then work as a team under the direction of an instructor to compose their own dance piece. Electives including Music, Musical Theatre, Drama and Visual Arts will be available. March Break Camp at Cornerstone Studio is from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Half Day March Break Camp is $190 plus HST; Full Day March Break Camp is $295 plus HST. Refer a friend to a half day camp and receive a $15 credit; refer a friend to full day camps and receive a $25 credit. March Break Discovery Camp at High Park Nature Centre

Campers ages 6-10 will enjoy March Break Discovery Camp from March 14-18, 2016 at the High Park Nature Centre. Campers will take hikes throughout High Park, play games and do crafts. Camp hours are 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and costs $50 per day. Extended care is available from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. for $10 each day. High Park Nature Centre is located at 375 Colborne Lodge Drive (just south of main entrance to High Park at Bloor Street West and High Park Avenue). Register for March Break Discovery Camp online.

March Break Camp at Toronto School of Circus Arts

This year, your kids can spin, jump, tumble and soar through their vacation at the city’s most unique camp. Running throughout March break from March 14-18, 2016. TSCA’s March Break Camp program is open to kids five years and older at varied levels of ability. Students spend the week learning acrobatics, silks, hoop, flying trapeze and more in a stimulating, non-competitive environment. Camp instructors have several years of coaching and performance experience. March Break Camp is Aerial & Ground for ages 5-15. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost is $310 plus HST. Register by January 15, 2016 to receive 15% off.

March Break Camp at The Royal Conservatory – Music Exploration

If your child is musical, she may want to attend The Royal Conservatory School’s March Break Camp for Music Exploration. This March Break Day Camp will include exploration of various genres of composers and art mediums on an interactive basis. Campers will take field trips to rehearsals of local performances, as well as participate in master classes and performance opportunities daily. Open to students ages 7-12 with at least one year of playing experience. Students will be placed in sections based on age and area of discipline. Pre- and after-care is available from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. A late fee of $1 per minute will be charged. Campers must bring their own bagged lunch (no nuts please) for a supervised lunch. Music Exploration March Break Camp at The Royal Conservatory School is 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. and costs $325.

GTA Photography Classes March Break Camp

Popular March Break Camps Toronto 2016 include March Break Camp at GTA Photography Classes at 24 Spadina Road. Offered for both Youth (9-12) and Teens (13-17), campers will learn both the creative and technical aspects of taking good photos. The March Break Camp will feature hands-on instruction and field trips. The camp takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with before and after care available. March Break Camp at GTA Photography Classes is $545 plus HST.

March Break Camps at University of Toronto (St. George Campus)

MultiSport (Ages 6-7 and Ages 8-12)

MultiSport camp exposes children to a variety of sports and develops fundamental movement skills. Non-competitive games of basketball, volleyball and soccer will be offered, as well as skating once a week at Varsity Arena (CSA approved helmets and skates required) and swimming once a week at the Athletic Centre. This camp is held primarily at Varsity Centre; pick up and drop off for ages 6-7 is at the Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport and for ages 8-12 is at the Varsity Centre. Pre and post camp care from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. is included.

Gymnastics (Ages 6-12)

Boys and girls, ages 6-12, work with NCCP-certified coaches to develop their gymnastics abilities, including tumbling, balancing, swinging and springing from a foundation. Children will also participate in arts and crafts, games, and a recreational swim on Wednesday morning. The Gymnastics March Break Camp is held at the Athletic Centre; pick up and drop off are at the Athletic Centre. Pre and post camp care from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. is included.

March Break Day Camp at Ontario Science Centre

Campers will enjoy hands-on, interactive discovery at the Ontario Science Centre’s March Break Day Camp March 14-18, 2016. Campers will take part in exciting science experiments and exclusive access to the exhibit halls. Campers will participate in superhero science by bending light, battling magnetic forces and defying gravity. Counsellors have science backgrounds, experience working with children and valid Vulnerable Sector Screening Checks, as well as First Aid and CPR certifications.

March Break Day Camp runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Supervised extended care from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., with games, educational videos and quiet activities, is available. A hot lunch is available for $9.99 per day. Campers must be 5 to 12 years old while at Camp. Cost is $275 (Non-Member) and $250 (OSC Member) before January 31, 2016 and $300 (Non-Member) and $275 (OSC Member) after January 31, 2016. Register online.
