Valentine’s Day Jewelry Gifts for Her
Valentine’s Day falls on a Sunday this year: Sunday, February 14, 2016. Whether you are opting to take your special lady to a romantic restaurant in Toronto or are planning something more intimate at home, jewelry makes a great Valentine’s Day gift in lieu of traditional red roses…and jewelry lasts much longer! We’ve curated some of our favourite Valentine’s Day jewelry gifts for her below so that you can start planning Valentine’s Day now.

This Sterling Silver Wave Cuff Bracelet from the Amazon Collection, $97.99, is a jewelry piece that will stay in style for years. (I bought a similar Sterling silver cuff bracelet from the AGO Gift Shop *cough*over twenty*cough* years ago and it’s still on trend.) At $97.99, you can’t beat this price point either. The Sterling Silver Wave Cuff Bracelet is one of the most classic Valentine’s Day jewelry gifts for her.

The Owen Necklace in copper, $69, by Green Bijou by Tricia McMaster makes a bold statement piece. Of course it would look stunning on a black dress, but I think it would also looking fabulous on bright pink, orange or yellow dresses or tops since these colours would pick up the bronze tone of the necklace. At a length of 21-22″, the Owen Necklace features vintage iridescent oil-spill beads, copper druzy stone chunks, recycled metal beads, a brass rolo chain, and a lobster clasp closure and extension.

If you’re looking for unique Valentine’s Day jewelry gifts for her, these gorgeous Chalice Rings in Sterling Silver from Toronto’s Matsu Jewellery come with either pink or green tourmaline. The Chalice ring with green tourmaline are $275 plus HST based on a ring size of 7.5 while the pink tourmaline Chalice ring is $295 plus HST based on a 7.5 ring size.

I love the rawness of these Hammered Sterling Silver Bangles by Reuven Kassai Designs from Made You Look Jewellery in Toronto. These bangles start at $225 and come alone or with naturally-coloured diamonds. Elegant. Earthy. Unpretentious.

The Philosopher women’s watch from Nordgreen, $229, features a minimalist yet elegant design. The large watch case presents a clean look and features a date indicator. The case size comes in both 40 mm (pictured) and 36 mm. The silver mesh band can be adjusted and has a secure fastener. If she wants a change, she can replace the band with bands that come in Rose Gold, Gold and Gun Metal. Purchase the Philosopher watch online.

These new Capa Necklaces, $195, from Toronto designer Erin Tracy are whimsical and versatile, looking good on your lady’s favourite tee or adding personality to a spring/summer dress. Pendants are available in quartz, ametrine, moonstone, and pearl with necklaces available in gold fill and Sterling Silver. Necklaces come in 16″, 18″ and 20” sizes; pendants are 1 cm x 1 cm. Purchase online.
