I’ve made a resolution to eat healthy everyday and to workout at the gym at least three times per week.
To eat healthier and spend more time with my family

I found out just before Christmas that I have type 1 diabetes. It was a shock but I have 2 girls who I live for, and as a single mother I need to be healthy and do all I can to ensure I am around for a long time for them. I have added granola to my yoghurt and porridge, and carry a packet of this in my car and bag for when I am a little hypogycemic (low). Thank you for the great blog, so happy to have discovered it and will be following for more great tips and articles!

I made the resolution to be more active
I have resolved to get healthy, so I went to see a naturopath and had some blood work done; discovered that I have some food allergies and sensitivities which have caused other health problems. So I have pretty much gone “cold turkey” and cut out all the things listed in my sensitivity list out of my diet. It’s made cooking extremely challenging, but I feel better physically and have lost 8 pounds in two weeks.

My Goal is to exercise at least 5 days a week, starting at 15 minutes and working up to an hour, I am only doing very light- moderate exercise
